Farringdon Ward Club is delighted to announce that its 2026 Civic Lunch will be held at Waterman’s Hall. Alderman and Sheriff Robert Hughes-Penney is our principal guest. Robert’s ward when first elected as a Common Councillor was Farringdon Within, and he remains a member of our Club, so it will be especially pleasing to welcome him on Friday 17th April.
The Company of Watermen and Lightermen have a historic Hall on St Mary at Hill, and a different panel of caterers to Guildhall. This has allowed us to hold the price to the same level - £105 - as it was last year, and to use our preferred caterer.
We have, however, just 70 tickets to offer to members so it is strictly first-come, first-served.
