    HMS WELLINGTON

HMS Wellington, formerly HQS Wellington, is moored on the Thames - its stern lines tied off in the Ward of Farringdon Without.  The ship is the only surviving Grimsby class sloop, the only surviving Battle of the Atlantic convoy escort, and is one of only 16 major Royal Navy historic ships that survive today.  It is now managed by the Wellington Trust - see Home - HMS Wellington.

We invite members of the Club to join the Curry Lunch on 18 September - where we hope to take three tables of eight - and meet others interested in the ship and the Trust.

Timings are 12.15 p.m. for drinks, sitting down at 1.00 p.m. for a three course lunch, selecting your menu choices on the day.

The cost per ticket is £55 for members and their guests.

Access is via a ramp from Victoria Embankment.
